Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
Over the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Jingle bell, jingle bell
Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Yes my dear friends its Christmas Eve and we all are ready to celebrate the day with joys and happiness in our hearts.
We all know that Christmas tree is a centrepiece of this festive season. And through this writing of mine I want to discuss why Christmas trees are decorated on Christmas? What is the tradition behind it?
So let me tell you my dear friends this wonderful tradition of decorating Evergreen fir trees on Christmas started even before the advent of Christianity. During winters Pagans used to decorate their homes with the branches of fir trees to brighten their spirits during the winter Solstice. It is also believed that it represents fertility and not only this people believe that it brings new life in the darkness of winter.
This way the idea of using evergreen trees during Christmas started and it got evolved into Christmas tree.
Let us all decorate our houses beautifully with these trees and pray for the well-being and happiness of one and all. Sing jingle bells and celebrate the day with your friends and families.
Merry Christmas to all the readers.
